Phase I Faculty Portal Overview
The Faculty Systems project is intended to:
Provide web-based faculty access to assignment information and related resources.
- Help the organization to manage faculty assignments.
- Generate accurate data for faculty pay.
- Generate accurate data for reporting on faculty resources.
The Phase I Faculty Portal enables faculty to:
1. Access course instruction assignment information and related data and functions through a web-based interface.
- View course instruction assignment information organized by time as “In Progress”, ‘Past”, or “Future” assignments.
- View course rosters with student contact information, credit hours, and final grade detail.
- Enter the ECollege classroom without additional login.
- View or submit final grades.
2. Review and update their individual faculty profiles.
3. Search for and review data on all Walden faculty and courses. Functions planned for future releases of the Faculty Portal include notification and acceptance of assignment offers, other assignment types, pay data, and course readiness status information.
