Faculty Portal Home Page
Once you’ve logged in successfully you will see the Portal home page. The default view is the Assignments page showing “In Progress” assignments. From here, you can choose any other Portal option. A brief overview of the home page follows:

Click this link to sign on to eCampus and check your Walden e-mail.
Major Features
Section Four describes the following major features in detail: Assignments, Course Search, Faculty Search, Contacts, Update Your Profile.
Your Name
In the upper right hand corner of the page you should see your first and last name displayed after the words, “Welcome Back.” This is the University’s official record of your name; it is also shown in your profile. If you need to correct the name, you must contact your HR representative.
Log Out link
The “Log Out” link appears below the “Welcome Back” text in the upper right hand corner of the page. Upon clicking this link, the log in page will display. Always log out when finished using the Portal. For complete security, always close the browser window after using a public system.
Sidebar Links and Information
The sidebar area displays links to your Active Courses as well as several Internet tools and resources for faculty. Unless the link explicitly notes, you will not have to sign on to these sites. You should be automatically signed on.
